Documentation for MINC PLDesigner-XL and PLSynthesizer

The following documents are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format and can be downloaded by clicking on their titles. PDF allows documents to be presented in their original form, retaining the font, color, graphic, and page layout information as the author intended.

If you are logged into jason.sdsu.edu, you can read the MINC PDF files by running the Acrobat Reader as follows:

1 [jason]/home/paolini> acroread &

If you receive a "Command not found." error message, you can either run acroread using an absolute pathname:

2 [jason]/home/paolini> /usr/local/Acrobat3/bin/acroread &

or add the following text to your $HOME/.cshrc file:

set path=($path /usr/local/Acrobat3/bin)
and resource your .cshrc and rehash your current shell's internal hash table:

3 [jason]/home/paolini> source $HOME/.cshrc
4 [jason]/home/paolini> rehash

On jason.sdsu.edu, all the MINC PDF documentation files are kept in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/minc. After invoking acroread, you must navigate to this directory via the file selection dialog box that appears when selecting File->Open... from the acroread menu bar.

If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat for your PC or Macintosh, you can download a copy by clicking the Acrobat Reader image below.
